We worked across various sectors, from landscaping to forestry, and noticed that the industry was rife with inefficiencies and undervalued potential.
Tree planting is hard work, often relegated to the fringes of labour markets. Burdened with heavy loads and challenging terrains, planters labour tirelessly, yet their efforts are frequently overlooked. The industry's reliance on manual labour and traditional methods leads to a high injury rate, impacting productivity and morale.

A Seed of Innovation
At Forestme, we believe in doing things differently. We started by addressing the small inefficiencies that others overlooked. Our holistic approach focused on improving every aspect of the tree planting process.
One significant change was in our communication with clients. We prioritised gathering extensive information before commencing any project, ensuring that our planters were well-prepared, saving precious time and increasing efficiency.
We’ve also addressed the hiring process. Instead of the industry's norm of high employee turnover, we focused on hiring the right people. Our skilled planters are capable of outperforming several inexperienced ones, which not only enhances productivity but also reduces on-site risks.

Embracing Technology
Where others saw tradition, we saw an opportunity for innovation. We eliminated paper-based systems, replacing them with a client portal, customer management tools, and planter dashboards. These technological advancements allow for real-time data tracking, detailed planting reports, and more efficient management of large reforestation projects.
